Twenty Iwama Jō Suburi

Tsuki no bu

Choku tsuki - direct thrust
Kaeshi tsuki - reverse thrust
Ushiro tsuki - rear thrust
Tsuki gedan gaeshi - thrust, low sweep
Tsuki jōdan gaeshi uchi - thrust, high sweep, strike

Uchikomi no bu

Shōmen uchi komi - strike to centre of head
Renzoku uchi komi - continuous strikes
Men uchi gedan gaeshi - strike, sweep low
Men uchi ushiro tsuki - strike, thrust behind
Gyaku yokomen ushiro tsuki - reverse strike to side of head, rear  thrust

Katate no bu

Katate gedan gaeshi - single handed sweep from low
Katate tōma uchi - single handed long distance strike
Katate hachi no ji gaeshi - single handed figure eight sweep

Hassō gaeshi no bu

Hassō gaeshi uchi - sweep to hasso, strike
Hassō gaeshi tsuki - sweep to hasso, thrust
Hassō gaeshi ushiro tsuki - sweep to hasso,  rear thrust
Hassō gaeshi ushiro uchi - sweep to hasso, rear strike

Nagare no bu

Hidari nagare gaeshi uchi - left flowing sweep, strike
Migi nagare gaeshi tsuki - right flowing sweep, thrust
